Fill out my contact form and we’ll see if your date, budget, and style match what I do.
Let’s get on the phone. It’s time to gather info, share tips, and do a vibe check.
If our vibes align, we fill out some paperwork to make this relationship official.
We finally get to hang out in person! You practice looking cute in front of the camera for your wedding day while I crack terrible jokes.
A few months before your wedding, we talk through every detail of the day to make a flow that puts your experience first.
LFG!!! I guide you when needed (and keep my emergency kit handy).
But mostly, you breathe everything in while I quietly capture it all.
Within two weeks, I send you a sneak peek of my favorite images. In 10 - 12 weeks, you get a gallery full of moments that will pull you right back into your wedding day. (And it will keep doing that for the rest of your life.)

Her personal touch shines through in everything she does. Her vibe is warm and celebratory while also being calming and reassuring. Her professionalism and organization throughout the whole process is top tier. We knew we were in good hands and felt secure and confident with Shay as our photographer. Shay is amazing and you should hire her as your wedding photographer!”
From start to finish, she made our wedding photography experience fun, easy, seamless and most importantly, GORGEOUS! I can't stop looking at the photos!! Shay helped us have the most magical day. She has an amazing presence -- she made everyone feel calm, comfortable, and happy during the photos. She also helped us figure out the timeline for the day and was super accommodating. THANK YOU, SHAY!”
My first family photo session was in 2014. A friend convinced me that my obsessive photography hobby could translate to portrait work. (She was totally right.) I accidentally photographed my first wedding in 2016 when another friend didn’t book a photographer for her casual wedding reception. I quickly appointed myself. (Obviously I had a camera in my purse.) After that, I was completely hooked. I made the business official in early 2017 and have been filling my summers with incredible celebrations ever since!
Look, I’m not a wedding planner. But we will spend a lot of time talking through your wedding timeline. We’ll lay out the flow of the day so that it centers your wants and needs. (Remember, nothing is obligatory.) We’ll build some moments for you to pause and take it all in. Wedding planning can be a steep learning curve, but I love sharing what I know to help your day flow as smoothly as possible.
I use two Fuji cameras (plus a third in my bag as back up). They look like retro film cameras, but they have all the latest digital technology inside. The files are high quality (so you can make huge prints if you want to). I also bring 6-10 lenses to every wedding. From my “storytelling lens” to my “portrait lens” to my “artsy lens,” I’m prepared for every situation.
It’s a wide range! I’ve booked weddings anywhere from 2 months to 2+ years in advance. My marriers tend to be slightly laid-back, booking around 8 months to a year ahead of their weddings. Some fall dates and holiday weekends book early though!
Yes! Shoot me an email and I’ll share some of my favorite vendors. I especially love connecting you with queer-identifying and LGBTQ-friendly folks in the industry. (You'll never have to question whether you and your guests will be whole-heartedly embraced.)
