You may remember Tiffany and Rob (aka #teamtribble) from their lilac-filled engagement session at the Arnold Arboretum last month. (They are the sweet couple that kept me laughing for 90 minutes straight!)
A few days ago, these two were married on a beautiful, sunny summer day at the Berkshire Botanical Garden. It was not-quite-an-elopement, but it had the same intimate, relaxed, and joyful feeling.
They rented a beautiful house in Stockbridge where everyone got ready. After the bow ties were tied and all the tiny buttons were buttoned, we headed to garden for a quick first look and a short formal ceremony in the Hosta Garden. After the ceremony, everyone headed back to the house to change and relax. Tiffany looked stunning in her traditional red Qipao. The guests enjoyed a glorious spread of cheese and cured meats, lawn games, and a champagne toast before walking over to the Red Lion Inn (a charming Berkshire staple) for a lovely five course dinner.
I absolutely loved the relaxed flow of this day. There was great food and excellent company. It was unfussy and the shape of the day let guests relax as conversations unfolded naturally. Tiffany and Rob’s hard work and creativity shone through in little touches, like the rings Rob cast himself at a local workshop and the sweet little cake toppers that Tiffany made, representing the silly nicknames they have for each other.
Planning this intimate, slightly non-traditional wedding wasn’t always easy, but in the end, I hope it was truly the wedding of their dreams.
