For their engagement session, Molly and Sean took me on a tour around their neighborhood – Union Square. We met up at Remnant Brewing where we got comfy and chatted over beers. We explored Bow Street Market, indulging in some delicious macarons from Maca. (I got Taro flavor, while Molly got PB&J.)
We strongly considered snagging a donut from Union Square Donuts too, but since the sun was starting to descend, we headed up to Prospect Hill Park for some sunset photos instead. All the while, we chatted about Broadway musicals (my first love), Game of Thrones, the crucial differences between “grazing” and “snacking,” and what it means to plan a wedding that reflects exactly where you’re at right now.
Although it was windy and chilly up in the park, these two braved it out and snuggled close for warmth. And I’m so glad they did. Because in those moments of holding each other close against a buffeting wind, they exuded an effortless kind of romance and intimacy. The kind where you delight in making each other laugh, where you can’t help but kiss.
What a gift for me to witness that small window into their world…
