Sarah and Craig set out to have a wedding that was “unapologetically us.” They sought to create an intimate, collaborative day infused with the warmth and silliness that they embody as a couple.
That journey brought them to the beautiful Glastonbury Boathouse, where they exchanged vows beside the sparkling Connecticut river. They decided to forego some traditions (a church wedding, a wedding party, seating assignments) while still finding ways to include the people they love most.
Craig is in a death metal band, so music and dancing was a huge priority. Later in the night, the brass band played a second set out on the balcony, while the remaining guests danced under the stars. Other highlights included their lovely handwritten vows and a magnificent and entirely gluten-free dessert buffet.
I so admire a couple who’s committed to doing things exactly how they want to and Sarah and Craig made it look easy!
